Capital Campaign

Campaign Overview:
After months of praying, discussing and seeking advice from experts, our vestry has developed a plan to reduce our monthly expenses by paying down the debt we inherited on our building and adding enough space to our Worship Center to allow us to move our offices and children’s ministry out of rented offices. This, too, will reduce our monthly expenses. We will also make general repairs to the building and improvements to the stage area, making our environment more spiritual, reverent and conducive for worship. (And we’ll fix a lot of leaks in the process.)
But the most important decision we are making is the choice to move forward with a clear and aggressive vision for Grace Church: We are going to grow deeper with Christ through worship and teaching, and we are going to grow Grace Church by creating a place to which you can bring your friends – a place that creates experiences you will tell others about.

The Five P’s of Making a Sacrificial Gift:

Prayer is where we always start.
Is my gift a prayerful gift? Through prayer we seek God’s will in our lives. Please pray, “God, what gift would be pleasing to You?”

Personal Is my gift a personal gift? Our commitment is not about our gift com-pared to anyone else’s; our commitment is about our response to God’s blessing in our lives.

Proportional The value of our gift is not in its quantity but in its quality. Sacrifice means different gifts for different people. Only you and God know the answer to this question: “Is my gift sacrificial for me?”

Pleasing. We seek to please God with our offering. Offering is about giving glory to our Maker. Is my gift born of a desire to please God?

Peace. When we give a gift born of pray-er, rooted in who we are, proportional to God’s blessing in our life, with an intent to please God, then we shall know peace in our heart: Peace that passes all understanding…
